Studio Spot 250 HOME palette

Hi folks, I have what seems to be a stupid question.

How do you get the Studio Spot 250 to HOME from the Whole Hog II?
We've tried to do exactly as the directions in the manual state - set the control parameter, and then set the shutter value to open. We're talking about the "Strobe" parameter, right? We've tried both strobe and iris for safety's sake, and still no homing is happ-nin.

Any insight on this?

Thanks so very much, we're sitting here in the theatre trying to figure this out!

Yes, but you should be setting the STROBE to be CLOSED not OPEN.

Also be cautious about scrolling through values on the control channel with set to CLOSED, you will see wierd things happen.

Best bet is to build a palette in BLIND with STROBE set to CLOSED and CONTROL set to HOME.

Then selet you fixture(s), select the palette, and then either KNOCKOUT or CLEAR from the Programmer.

    Hope this helps:)
