Hog2 Load Show Alert!

I have searched the forums for q&a about my issue and havn't found what I need. Things have been busy and due to lack of internet and a copy of the user manual I can't figure it out.

I've created a disk for fixture personality useing the Lib generator. The list of fixtures added where martin stage bars, mac 550+basic, mac 700 basic+ex,mac 700 wash basic+ex, chaveot Qspot/wash 250, Qspot 575, color tubes and scorpion 55 RG.

I load show on a clean start using hog 500 and get a interesting message.
ALERT
Error in file _lib.lib:verion=40
Error in file _lib.lib:count=1

Hitting "enter" to continue I then "add fixture(s)"
Everything seems to load and patch fine.

I'm worryed this might create problems down the road.
What does this message mean?
Is it a major issue that needs more attention?
How should I go about fixing this ALERT msg??

Thanks in advance
fred

  • Fred,

If you have more than 1 fixture in your library then this is why you have the failure that reads " Error in file _lib.lib:count=1" You need to increase this number to match the number of fixtures in your _lib.lib file.

Also the error " Error in file _lib.lib:verion=40" would be due to the line reading "verion" and not "version" in your _lib.lib file.

You can also refer to the Wholehog 2 user manual for more information about creating and adding custom libraries.
