Hog1k to ignite VL2500

Hi,

Always using Macs in the show, but for one day had to use VL2500 spots and washes. We could not make the lamp-on command out of the Hog1000.
In the control channel there is command for that but did not work, we used an avo desk to ignite.
Can someone tell me what is the trick? how can I make it work?

thanks a lot,
Hans

  • [QUOTE=jxgriffi;44076]For VL's, you have to have IDLE, then strike for a minimum of 6 seconds and then back to IDLE. Record them into palettes.

No succes with this, lamps still won't strike.
    What i did:
I used the latest library files, en than [select fixtures] [controlewheel to IDLE] [record beamlook palet 1], [controlewheel to LAMP ON] [record beamlook palet 2]
after that i run the palettes as you described.
All other functions are working perfect, the problem is just how to strike those VL's from the Hog1000, as said, striking from an avolites desk works fine....
