We have a a dmx widget and a programming wing that had been put away and have not been used in almost a year. Last weekend they were sent out on a job and no matter what the tech tried he could not get the widget to send a dmx signal. I have reinstalled the software and drives and have even installed them on another computer and no matter what I do the only indicator light on the widget that illuminates is the "link" light but from what I understand the "TX Mode" and "DMX Ok" lights are also supposed to illuminate. The wing appears to function just fine and I have tried with the widget plugged into the wing as well as directly into the computers with the same results. To me it sounds like the widget has gone bad...opinions?
It sounds like the Widget was not configured. In Hog 2 PC, place your mouse anywhere on the blue Front Panel window. Right Click and select CONFIG. From the CONFIGURATION window select the widget number from the pop down box representing Output 1.
