next touch release option
on scenes or cues panel, if you touch a cell it do o go, should it be possible to have an option to release it on second touch?

No you are correct...there is no option that will allow you to do the same thing with Scenes presently.
On the iPC the return of SPLIT for views is fantastic b/c you can have 2 full screens of Cuelists.....I expect we'll see it in the console v1.4.0
