Currently, when running multiple consoles there is only one show server that runs on one of the consoles in the network. This prevents us from having to worry about data consistency problems that could be caused by maintaining multiple copies of show data on each of the consoles. Because of this, show management functions can only be performed on the server console. This may change in the future. We already have a feature request opened for backup functionality from client consoles, so it's certainly something that we're looking into.
