Wholehog 3 wireless connection

We've got Wholehog 3 with ethernet connection with DMX processor.
Now we've got a necessaty to connect its through an air, because where is no possibility to use a cable (a water stage). The distance is 100 meters. We use linksys wireless bridges (802.1 b&g) and directed antenas. It works well until you connect Wholehog 3. Ping increase from 1 ms till 1500-3000 ms.
How to solve this problem? Is it possible to use wireless bridges in this system?

  • Do you have anything other than your Wholehog 3 and DP(s) on the network?

Our network architecture is designed to facilitate distributed realtime processing. In addition to sending information about fixtures and parameters, there are go messages that can be triggered from any device and lots of timing information to ensure that all DPs start and stop their crossfades together. Even though the Wholehog 3 is using standard networking protocols and is capable of running over wireless Ethernet, the volume of traffic and the time-sensitive nature of the traffic mean that it doesn't lend itself well to wireless communication. You will be more prone to seeing delays and having sluggish feedback responses.
