I'd like the ability to upgrade one consoles software over the ethernet port to anothers. Additionally I'd like the ability to transfer s/w from a CD to the zip from file browser.
We're aware that software packages aren't currently shown in the file browser window. Bug #4718 is logged for this issue. I've added your comments to the bug.
I've also opened enhancement #10154 for your suggestion about cross-loading software between networked consoles.
