Ending Effects

This is an old issue but something which still bugs me:

I'd like a quick way of ending an effect. Let's say you have an intensity effect running and send the lights to 50% this would cancel the effect.

There are times however where I'd expect the effect to use the values as a base so there needs to be a quick way of deciphering which is intended i.e. with a circle effect I may want the lights to go to my DSC focus and end the effect, or I may want them to circle around my DSC focus.

Thanks Ross

    Cue 1, 1 thru 8 pos DSC.
Cue 2, add PT fx on 1 thru 8 for circle
Cue 3 1 thru 8 to DSL (the fx still runs)
Cue 4 1 thru 8 fx size to zero (the DSL tracks through)

Scenario 1 is to go step by step from cue 2 to cue 3.
Scenario 2 is to create a link from step 2 to step 4 which ends the fx on DSL.
