Additional View Settings

I guess if I was slower at pressing buttons it wouldn't be a problem but...
I use additive views because I am constantly cycling through views when I have editor windows open. Unfortunately, I'll end up with as many as a dozen windows open at times.
I would prefer being able to keep my editors open. At it is, when I hit a view key not assigned as an additive view, editor goes bye bye.
I would love to be able to asset a priority to certain windows (like the current editor).
I guess what I'm asking for is a tool in views to define a view that allows certain windows to be transparent (and not closed when you hit a new view).

-speaking of views... i've always wanted views to be toggleable(is that a word?;))
-so that when i press the view a second time it closed the windows..

Anders! You hit a good one! :headbang:
Hell yeah! Toggleable (love that word) views!
This would aid in some of the view problems I discussed.
We still need a priority funcion that can be assigned to a window.
How about a button in each window call "Lock View"
When pressed, it would lock that window where it's at even if everything else is closed or changed.
