Since you say this happens every time, can you please provide us with a step by step method to reproduce this from either a new show or from loading a particular show (and send us that show too). Detailed information that leads to a reliable repro helps us to solve the problem.
Just stating that hitting update twice causes a crash is not enough information. I can press update twice on my desk with no crash... does this happen with infomation in the programmer, after loading a cue or palette, is there anything playing at the time you hit update, etc?
