Blade flip

Hog3 has many features which can ease the pain of programming and cause I think everything is possible with software, this idea came to my mind.

Blade flip&rotate

For example if you have made something like this with blades of VL1000

/_\

it would be nice to be able to transfer the values easily from blade to blade so that the pattern turns 90 degrees or 180 degrees.

Does this make any sense?

  • I like your idea. Sounds sort of like a Mirror feature as opposed to a flip. I think about this with Pan and Tilt all the time. In fact, with moving head P&T if you hit flip, then hold minus and touch the tilt, you'd have it.

If there were a way to perform this with a single key stroke it would be fantastic.

The parameter would also be cool for indexing rotating Gobos. Personally I'd like to see Gobo and Shutters able to index to 90 degree offsets with a single button press.

For shutters specifically, it almost sounds like another need for string macros that would automate certain tasks.
