Road Hog & IPC

Hello all,

just wondered if it was (or if anyone had tried off the record) installing IPC software onto the Road Hog?

Cheers
  • The Hog3PC software is the same across all platforms.

Anything else won't work.....different hardware, the drivers will not be in the XPe image not to mention the BIOS conflicts.

I imagine very bad things for the poor RoadHog that someone tries this on!

This is a curious question......Why would you want to do that? Even if it did work (which I doubt), it would be a major downgrade in functionality for the console.
  • Hello,

    I was just wondering.

I like the Hog 3 operating system - but some of my dry hire-ies prefer the H2 operating system.

Although to be fair, since Mark Cues have arrived in H3 - this probably will make requests for H2 software not happen.

I obviously wouldn't try it unless someone else had found it to be ok ;)

    Cheers

Well...It looks like your fellas need to step up to the BIG LEAGUES and play on the HOG III platform. :)

  • FYI..

We have a protection scheme that will not allow the various XPe images to be loaded on the wrong platform. This protects customers from loading the wrong image and also meets with a requirement by Microsoft related to the distribution of XPe.
