Unknown Exception

I just recently purchased a Road Hog Full Boar. During boot up when I get to the launch show window, I get an "unknown exception" error. When I click OK the screens go blank and the console does nothing. After hard restarting, it may happen again, it may not. I am not sure what to do and this makes my console startup a little unpredictable. I don't always have the luxury of restarting 7 or 8 times to get to where I can launch a show. Do I need to reinstall the system software? Do I need to disable a parameter when I do finally get into the system? Do I need a bigger hammer? Help!

  • This failure is most likely because of a conflict occurring between Windows, the Hog3PC application, and the network adapter settings.

Is your Hog-net ethernet port on the back of the Full Boar plugged into a network? If yes, what is on that network?

There is a known issue that has been fixed internally that will be part of the next release which is due out in the next two weeks. That bug states that custom/default IP address settings on Full Boar can cause Unknown Exception on boot when a network link is present without a DHCP server.
