software update over notebook

hi,
is it possible a notebook connected to a hog 3 system and make a update from the notebook to hog3? or a window in hog 3 a update availably?

    Network File Browsing
    You can connect to drives on a local network or remote computer to transfer show files. Only compressed show file backups (.tar.gz) files can be transferred with Network File Sharing.


    So...if you are using current software, you should be able to. I haven't tried it with the new software (haven't upgraded yet), but the notes are right there.
