Idle usually indicates nothing is patched on the DP 2000.
You can remove power from the unit. Press and hold the three front panel buttons and re-apply power. After 5 seconds or so you can release the buttons. If you see TRIPLE BUTTON HELD, you can release the buttons.
THis will reboot the unit and cause it to download a new image from the console. This may help if something is patched to the unit.
