Hog PC installer crash

I just tried to install Hog 3 PC and it keeps dumping to an error saying I must have windows xp SP2. I am running XP Pro SP3 On a Dell precision M90

I was trying to install over a 2.4.0 installation, would that cause this error?

  • Make sure you only have one network adapter enabled when you are starting up Hog3PC, so only the loopback adapter, or only your wired connection, etc. If it says the show server is not responding, I would click OK and it will usually load quickly after that.

    You can enable/disable network adapters by going to:
    -> Control Panel
    -> Network Connections (Use Classic View in XP)
    Then you can right click on each adapter and "DISABLE"

    This usually solves my problems with this error.
