help whit timing

hello... it´s me again... :rtfm:

this is something i can´t find in the UserFM.
i understand that the WH3 can time all parameters in separate. but i don´t realise how. for example:

cue 1 is a scene whit open studio colors in cyan liting the band and mac 2000 are dim out in and up porsition
cue 2 is to bump the intensity of the mac2000 but they have to came down in 8 seconds...
if i put the 8 seconds in the general timing everything will fade in 8 seconds including intensity... and this is what i don´t want... got me?

hop you can give me some instructions about this issue

cheers...

  • To clarify a bit... Calvin is correct, but first you need to assign a time of zero to the entire cue or just to intensity. For instance, working from his directions:
    1) Select the CHOOSE button above the cuelist you want to edit
    2) CUE 2 OPEN (select the Mac 2k's)
    3) INTENSITY TIME 0 ENTER
    4) POSITION TIME 8 ENTER
    5) UPDATE

You can learn more about individual parameter timing in section 20.2 of the user manual.
