Problem with Hog 3PC v2.6 and wysiwyg connectivity app.

Hi,

Just installed Hog 3PC and tried to connect it to wysiwyg.
The connectivity app starts, saying "wholehog network found",
then "connecting, no server, scanning port 6601", and then nothing
more happens. I checked in the hog software and the port is correct,
and I never had this problem with previous software releases.

PC running Windows XP SP2.

Any ideas?

  • Are you running H3PC and WYG on the same machine, or two separate ones?

If separate, make sure the Loopback Adapter is disabled. I've seen problems with Loopback, even when it is not used as the Network Adapter for H3PC when connecting two machines. It should work fine if running on the same machine though.

Port 6601 should be OK, but maybe try the default Port 6600 to rule this out.

Have you tried re-installing the connectivity driver? Make sure you do a system restart aftwe doing this.

    Hope this helps:)
