Hi guys, we are looking at buying another console we currently have the roadhog and a hog pc system. I have been looking at the differences of the full boar vs the hog 3 and the full boar seems to have greater expansion options. will the hog 3 support usb keys? Its too close to call and would like to hear other peoples opinions. We are a drive way hire company in Australia and we do some production. We mainly top up other peoples stock.
Hi, i think this has been discussed already in another post. If i were you i would at least wait until the new DP8000 is released before you purchase a Hog III,i would not purchase any DP2000 processors. No official release date yet but worth waiting to find out.
If you can do a side by side test with the consoles and see for yourself what they can and can't do. I doubt if you will be able to save to USB on a Hog III until after the DP8000 is released and perhaps not at all.
I myself would chose a Fullboar over a Hog III if given a choice.
I was told that the HOG 3 was better for expansion purposes... but if you insist.... Just wondered, sorry to hijak the thread, but does the full boar still have pages like the HOG 3?
The short answer to your question is, YES. Wholehog 3, Road Hog FULL BOAR, Road Hog, Hog iPC, Hog 3PC all run on the same Wholehog Operating System. Given that the software is the same. Both the Wholehog 3 and the Road Hog FULL BOAR are pretty comparable in expandability, so it really comes down to personal prefrence.
