HogIII Effect Palette

So my LD and I are having a little disagreement... I've looked all over to find a definitive answer, but have had no luck.

Our HogII system had a bunch of, what we thought were, stock effects. Things like multi part intensity effects and stuff... Perhaps these weren't stock, but they were there when we started using it, and no one seems to think they were all manually created.

So the discussion is, assuming these were stocked in HogII, are they also available for HogIII, or do we have to build them ourselves?

The second part of that question... Are there place online where there might be libraries of effects that can be downloaded and installed? There seem to be too many variables to make that feasible, but I'm supposed to ask...

Anyways, quick clarification would be great. Just to settle the debate.

  • So I tried the auto-generate function. It didn't add any effects, but we already had some basic color effects and some iris and position effects.

What I'm curious about is the "4 Part Multi" "8 Part Fade" "3 Part......" etc... Intensity effects mostly.

I did a fresh download and install of Hog2PC and these weren't there. So am I correct in thinking that our previous lighting staff built these on their own? Does anyone remember seeing these on their Hog?

I'm okay with them not being there, I just need to confirm that they weren't something that came with Hog2....
