iPC Crash BSOD

Console: iPC v2.5.0(b2063)
Connected: usb keyboard, usb mouse, usb 2port switch

My volunteers have reported a few instances of BSOD while programming lately, and today I had it for myself. Here is what I was doing:

cuelist A copy cuelist B (replace)
move B to fader
See B is still old self and not same as A (is this a bug??)
delete B
cuelist A copy [open space of B]
use USB switch to switch keyboard from desktop to iPC
rename B using USB keyboard
move B to fader
choose B fader
BSOD on right monitor (left monitor still showing normal)

Not sure if my circumstances are same as previous BSOD circumstances, but hopefully this info can help resolve the issue.

thanks!

  • I haven't yet tried to reproduce the crash, ,but I'll see if can this weekend.

We've been using the USB switch for over a year now and routinely flip flop keyboard and mouse back and forth from the iPC and our desktop. It's possible that the switch could be going bad somehow. Does the BSOD image I attached give any useful information about what caused the crash?

We haven't made any changes to our system, but just in the last month there has been an increase in the number of crashes we've seen (from zero to atleast 3). I know the bios battery has a finite life, could that be part of it?

    Thanks.
