Urgent, messed up show!

Hey guys,

I am setting up for a show and have a cue list setup and all the palletes programmed and evreything and by mistake one of the lights (Fixture 1, they are Vl1000 TSD's) got un patched and removed. When i went to add fixtures and typed in eight to correct itself and tried to patch it it patched it as 1:217 instead of 1:1. it is also showing up woith a fixture number of 9. Is it possible to repatch it as 1:1 and show up as fixture one instead of redoing the whole cue list and making a new show? Right now the light is just not moving as its patched as the wrong number.

Thanks,

kmkarim

  • The best thing to do is to re-load from a backup of your showfile. This will restore your settings.

If this is not possible, you can simply change the user number of the fixture by selecting the cell in the spreadsheet and then press SET and type the number you want.

Or if you want it to behave exactly as another fixture, then select the fixture you want it to be like in Patch and then use REPLICATE from the top toolbar. You will get a fixture that is a "copy of xxxx" you can then chage this new fixture's number as above. The advantage to this is that all your palettes, scenes, cues, etc will have programming data exactly the same as your source fixture.

Then to re-patch simply select the fixture in Patch and use UNPATCH from the top toolbar. After that press "@" from the keypad and select the new Patch location.

    Hope this helps:)
