No changes have been made to the connectivity driver for version 3.0 Wholehog Software. You can continue using the released version of the connectivity driver posted on the Flying Pig website in conjuntion with the v3.0 console software.
Can you guys describe exactly where the connectivity is failing. Is the option to use the Hog 3 as a dmx source coming up when you start Vision? If so, does the virtual dp come up on the visualizer machine when you launch ESP?
When you load esp vision it comes up with an error while on the loading image. The error reads "An error has occured. Please reinstall hog3 support for esp vision" It appears to be a regkey error.
I have tryed reinstalling esp vision and the connectivity software. Esp vision worked fine before the hogpc v3 update.
I've tried your fix to only find that my registry files already have the \ on the end. I've looked through all the registry linked to the connectivity software and can't see any obvious errors.
Could it be linked to the fact I'm running on 64bit Vista?? It has worked fine in the past though.
We have tested this on Vista Ultimate 64bit and there is the same except only reg key is located at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Flying Pig Systems\Wholehog III ESP]. After fixing HOGPC was connected.
Also some .DLL files was missed, but this is probably because that was a clean machine. I updated the article above if you interested.
Finally got it working thanks to your last post. I also found that the install location was missing in the main registry folder for the connectivity tool.
All is well now though and everything is connecting as it should.
