<bug that is from last few updates> concerning touchscreens

A little less than a year ago I brought up a problem with the touchscreens not enabling correctly and was told it would be fixed in the 1.3.0 update. I have a RHFB with two external ELO touchscreens that were suggested purchases from another thread. The console boots up properly when the externals are disconnected but the problem comes in when I plug in the externals. The externals activate but the internals do not activate, or rather do not turn on except for the touch, meaning that the touch is way off and has to be recalibrated again.

I don't think it is supposed to happen this way and I believe that I should be able to leave the externals plugged in and not have to unplug them every time I have to restart.

  • I've been having the same issue with my Full Boar using dual ELO touchscreens. When I boot the console with the touchscreens plugged in, the internal monitors remain blank, it treats the externals as though they are the primary screens. What I've been doing to work around is unplug the touchscreens before booting, then plug them in and enable them. Once I do this, they all four work fine, no re calibrating required. The thing is, this has only just started to become an issue since I had to reinstall the XPe image (I couldn't launch any shows, including a new show). This is a brand new desk sitting in an install situation running 3.0.5, which it was before the XPe reinstall.
