Does selecting the required MAC2ks and touching the effect in the directory not work?

More than likely you recorded the effect palette as "per fixture". This means the effect is specific to those fixtures numbers.

what option i try global , per type ,per fixture ,it doesn't work

Do the MAC2Ks respond at all? I had an issue once with MAC 250s. I had the effect set far too fast, so they MACs wouldnt move at all. This is because the speed just wasnt achiveable from the fixtures. Despite the fixture type, there will always be a speed limit. Check this.

Try recording even circle as two seperate effect palettes.

In order to be recorded as a global, the effect needs to be the same across the fixtures being recorded otherwise. By splitting the effect up into two palettes you can achieve a true global palette which can then be applied to your selection of odd/even fixtures as you chose.
