Beginner Seeking Information

Hello all,

My name is Elijah, and I am a member of the tech crew at Beachwood High School. We manage the tech for all stage productions, shows, performances, etc. We are currently working on the annual talent show White and Gold. As part of this years show we are utilizing a wholehog 3 version 3.0.1 for our lighting and effects.

While when warranted we call in professionals to help us with this piece of equipment and to run lighting, we, the students, and advisor on the tech crew are interested in learning some of the basics of the wholehog. I want to know, where can I find a tutorial, manual, or other piece of literature that helps orient beginners to the wholehog system, and perhaps teaches some of the basics.

I look forward to your responses,

Thanks,
Elijah

  • The manual can be found at www.flyingpig.com along with all other wholehog support information. Me personally am writing a 'students pack' to try to answer questions such as yours. There is a topic in the tpis and tricks forums about it. It isnt there yet as I am working on it and waiting for some pictures to put in it. The manual is long.. over 400 pages last time I looked. My advice is READ IT! It may seem a huge task, but it covers everything, and you will be glad you did. If you have some more complex questions, maybe specific to your programming/show please feel free to ask.

    Hope this helps you,
