Playback Fader changing fade times

It would be a nice to be able to set a master fader to proportionally change fade times in a cuelist.
An example of this would be a color cuelist where the fader up would fade the cue in the programmed time, and fader down would bump the next cue in a zero count.
Many times I have a cuelist that is just color with a fader that isn't used (don't always want to use IPCB xfade)and this would really help with busking shows.

I think it would be a more elegant approach than the choose+cuelist rate combo.

  • I was thinking of it as a new fader option, adjusting time only via the master. This would not follow the choose+(input) syntax.
I usually make cuestacks of just color parameters so I normally wouldn't use the master at all and this option would actually have it do something useful in this situation.
Another thought occurred, when the master is at 50%, the time would be as recorded, above 50% increases fade time, and below 50% decreases fade time.
I suppose the instance where having the choose+master scenario to change fade time would be helpful would be with a cuestack that has LEDs on it where by default the master would control intensity. I'm coming at this from a ML perspective where intensity would be on another cuelist.
    Hope this makes sense.
