Change of behaviour with 'Renumber'?

I noticed a change of behaviour when using 'Renumber' in a cuelist.

In 2.6.0 (and before) when pressing 'Renumber', the cuelist renumbers starting from Cue 1, no matter what the number of the first cue is. Now since 3.0.0 when pressing 'Renumber' the cuelist renumbers starting from the number of the first cue in the list.

Example:
Record two cues in one cuelist. Move cue 1 to cue 4. Press 'Renumber', the cuelist renumbers from Cue 2. So cue 2 is still cue 2, and cue 4 renumbers to cue 3. Change the first cue to 1, press 'Renumber' and it'll renumber the cues to 1 & 2.

I don't know if this is a bug or not, I couldn't find anything in the releasenotes from 3.0.0 to 3.0.4 about a change of this function.

  • You are correct Pimmer. Hitting renumber in the cuelist window should renumber cues in the cuelist starting at 1 and increasing by 1. This changed in 3.0 for some reason and I am logging bug #12851 for this.
