Copying Cues and State

Hi,

This is in 3.0.4 on an IPC, maybe on doing something wrong, but this seemed to work in hog 2, but maybe keystrokes are different in 3.

I made a cue 1 that has channel x up at a level, i then made a cue 2 that has channel y up at a level. I then typed Cue 1 Copy State Cue 3 Enter. I would expect for this to create a copy of cue 1 with only channels x up and not channels y, but the channels y track thru. Is this normal behaviour, the state command seems to be ignored.

Thanks

  • Eric,

I just looked at this in 3.0.4 and got the same thing as you. When I copied with state, it only copied the channel 1 value. My guess is that it is not copying the tracked values for the other channels as well (In this case, they are 0).

When I tried this again, I put a hard value of 0 for channel 'y' in cue 1 and then copied cue 1 to cue 3 and it worked.
