I have a customer who is running a show at one of their venues, on a hog 500, so the show is hog 2 based. They are thinking of replacing it with a Hog 3 DMX Super Widget, a Smpte Widget, and a Programming Wing. Will any or all of the show be able to be transferred or are they looking at a complete rewrite?
They could run the shows in Hog 2 mode. If they want to run in hog 3 mode however, they will have to have their show converted by High End. And not everything is able to be transfered.
The thesaurus can be used to go from Hog 2 to Hog 3, or if you are using the mini wings with Hog 2PC.. Then it can be used to know which new Hog 3 buttons relate to the Hog 2 buttons.
As Joshua sugests you can transfer the existing show onto the hardware you describe if you use Hog2PC. When the time comes to update the programming of the current show or you start a new production from scratch it can be programed in Hog3PC, which would not incidentally affect the running of your existing show which would remain in the Hog2PC format.
