Upgrade problem

Am having problems upgrading to 3.0.5

have the fpspkg file which downloads with the suffix .gz.

have tried burning this to a cd from my mac laptop - console says no files found. have tried burning this to a cd from windows (on my mac laptop - console says no files found.

tried un-archiving the gz, mac and windows (parallels) this produces a folder without the fpspkg extension.

tried deleting the .gz to leave .fspkg - console finds the file but then says some part of the upgrade failed.

getting a bit bored of wasting all these CDs.......

    The filename does not have a .gz suffiz. Sounds like your web-browser thinks it's smarter than you are and is trying to auto-detect the file type and "help" you by modifying it and/or changing the file name. This is often a problem when downloading on Macs.

    The file "gut_3.0.5_(Build_2482).fpspkg" and should be exactly 87,744,630 bytes with an MD5 Checksum of c97f0f583c820e3e69ef59f6898a9160. It should be placed on the CD or Zip disk exactly as-is without any modifications.
