Is there a way to lock an iPC access?

Currently, this is not available (believe me, I've been WAITING for that one).

I know Brad has a few ideas on security, but as of now, they are not implemented.

I was wondering, I have to leave my board after we setup before a show, and would love to lock it down. Can't wait to for a locking feature!

Console locking and show file security is indeed on the to-do list for future versions. I can't say when exactly it will be done, but we do understand the importance of this feature and have it on our list.

I find that just making a blank view, and changing to a page of blank cuelists does enough to keep most dumb people from screwing anything up.

A couple of weeks ago I had to walk away from my iPC and attend to a fixture- As I walked back to my position I saw someone who had presumably been watching me reaching over the top of the board and firing off a strobe cue.

My first (and natural) reaction was to whack him on the back of the hand with the LED fixture... :nono:

Satisfying.... But preventable.

I've been using one of these to lock my console when i'm away from it,bit cumbersome but readily available in most towns.

Press and Hold the Setup button and turn the Left & Right Backlight to 0% using the Wheel

Simple console locking is currently on the plan for v3.2 which is due out later this year...
