Is there anyway to force the DP to release the DMX signal upon the shutdown/power down of the console?? It keeps feeding my dimmer rack data after it's shutdown and I noticed today when connecting a Hog II to my iso's, that the dimmer zeroed out (and so nicely turned itself off after 5 minutes)
DPs and Widgets will go into a keep alive mode when they lose contact with the console and stay that way as long as they have power. If you want everything to go to zero, run a blackout cue prior to logging off the console.
We've discussed adding a "Shutdown DMX output" option to the shutdown window, but I don't think it's planned for the immediate future.
The blackout cue would be a good idea, but I have 100%/ min/max values added in some of my dimmer channels (which control relays in the rack to give hard power) -- zero'ing them thus does nothing.
You also might try a reboot/reset of the DP from the network window and then log off the show right away. This way when it does reboot it will not get any show data and should just sit there outputting nothing.
