Gel Picker as Reference Palette

I have a quick question. Is there a reason why the gel picker colors don't show up as referenced palettes in cues and scenes?

  • But what happens then when you have a show with many many cues, and you decide that r57 needs to have more red in it? How would you then update all your cues without having to go in and manually change all appearances.
With that said, maybe having the color you pick from the gel picker automatically becoming a palette. So in this case the gel picker would not be a palette, but when you use a color it automatically gets recorded into a palette with names and/or gel number. This way the Gel picker isn't editable, but the colors you use in your show are.
