Gel Picker as Reference Palette

I have a quick question. Is there a reason why the gel picker colors don't show up as referenced palettes in cues and scenes?

I think the point we are all making is that then this is no longer R57.

Not opposed to the auto-generated colour palette idea though, but I would want the option to turn this off in Preferences.
