Gel Picker as Reference Palette

I have a quick question. Is there a reason why the gel picker colors don't show up as referenced palettes in cues and scenes?

Chad said, "With that said, maybe having the color you pick from the gel picker automatically becoming a palette. So in this case the gel picker would not be a palette, but when you use a color it automatically gets recorded into a palette with names and/or gel number. This way the Gel picker isn't editable, but the colors you use in your show are."

This is very similar to some of the ideas we have discussed here in the office. This is probably the closest to the concept that will eventually get implemented. Of course it would have to be optional so that it could be turned on/off as desired.
