I have a ballyhoo created in the effects engine. I wanted the ballyhoo to stop moving leaving everything else the same. I tried halting the cuelist wich worked with rgb chases but had no effect on the ballyhoo.
I am not sure what bug you are referring to as #1105 is a very old v1.0 bug that was resolved long ago. However we are planning a rework of the effects engine in an upcoming cycle so hopefully we will resolve the problem you discus as part of that work.
