Following a Pallet ref, to find out where I used it…

Is there a way to look at a pallet ref, and see where it is used in a show. Say I saved a position pallet #27 live during a show, and forgot to name it, but do not remember where this pallet was actually used. Is there a fast way to see where the Pallet has been used, and in what cue/scene?

And yes, I actually did this...:o

Hope this makes sense…

Thanks for the help!
  • We currently do not provide this feature but we do show whether the palette is in use anywhere in the show file. This can be found in the palette directory in list view under the "used" column. It's an interesting feature you bring up. I will pass it along to our development team.
  • I wonder why this haven't been logged already...
Hog is really missing a good Compulite style exam function. One of the most important features in a theatre.

It would be really nice to have a good "search" function.

Choose a fixture and the search shows lists, cues, palettes where it's used.
This could go as deep as the result could be filtered by parameter and value.
Choose a palette and lists and cues are show where it's used.
Choose a list and all pages and masters are shown where it's used.

Then just add replace for all this :)
