I recently installed the 3.1 upgrade to my hog 3. I then read it is not a reliable os if you use the dp 2000. I then proceeded to reinstall the 3.0 os, but after it installed something happened, and now I cant get it to boot up. It goes through the procedure like it should but doesn't get to where i can load a show and automatically shows the screen where it says it is now safe to turn of the console.
you may try to restore the system with a clean install. go here www.flyingpig.com/support/312.shtml and download the clean install package. Hope this helps
You need to do a full install as documented in the manual. Make an install CD from the ISO image available on the download page. Put that CD in the drive and hold down enter when you turn on the console. It will give you a menu of options. Select "full install"
