I have a client who wishes to run specific cues during the show via midi from stage. can anyone advise on how this can be achieved? Please bear in mind that I have never used Midi on the 3 before.
Currently, HOG 3 does not support MIDI Notes, but it does do MIDI Show Control (MSC)
We do it using an Event Processor. www.midisolutions.com/prodepp.htm
The Event Processor goes between your MIDI source and the Hog. In the Event processor you program it to change a note to a MSC System Exclusive Message.
Like, Middle C On Velocity >10 becomes Cuelist 1 cue 1 GO
