Wheel Sensitivity Question

I recently purchased a Motion Computing tablet PC for use as an RFU. I first used it today and noticed that the wheels are overly sensitive to the point that it is extremely difficult to fine focus positions.

I'm not at the venue anymore so here's my question. If i set the sensitivity lower on control panel on the tablet, is it going to affect the sensitivity on the desk as well? I know I could figure this out pretty quickly tomorrow morning when I get back to the venue, but I'm a little impatient and looking for any suggestions if it does affect both the desk and the tablet as this would not be acceptable for me.

Thanks!

  • [QUOTE=jxgriffi;47758]I don't remember if it affects the console...but, if it does, the easiest thing to do would to save a preference file with the lower sensitivity along with a preference file with the "standard" sensitivity. That way, you can easily jump back and forth using the import function.

Yes it will affect the console, and this is exacly what I do to work around it.

I've been quite happy with my Motion Computing tablet over the last 18 months or so.

    Hope this helps. :)
