Have a customer with HogiPC version 2.6 and they need to upgrade. Can I upgrade to the current Hog3PC software or do upgrade to version 3.1 first and then upgrade to the current software?
If they're running 2.6, the console will also have an older XPe OS image. Your best bet is to install the 8.5.1 Restore image which contains Hog3PC v3.1.2 b2697, then upgrade to 3.1.6.

You won't have to merge anything. 3.1.x can open older shows and use them as is.
You'll need to backup any shows you care about to CD or a USB drive before doing the upgrade. Don't count on the shows remaining on the console's hard drive.
