is there any sort of usb-ethernet device that is supported by road hog to enable networking. I only need this for visualizer purposes. any help or info would be appreciated.
The Road Hog does not support networking. If you want to visualize a show from a Road Hog you'll need to convert the four DMX universes into something your visualizer can read. An Art-Net node is a common way to do this, but there are also a number of USB-based DMX inputs as well.
You can also use a copy of Hog3pc connected to the visualizer.
