I had had post few years ago a request ( I can't found the thread) : A table between two palettes.
As I was thinking about the multi layers effect, I thought that it would be great to have further palettes and futhers tables
[Palette 1] (Sin) [Palettes 2] (saw-tooth) [Palettes 3]......
It could also be interesting to have
[empty] (step) [Palettes 2]
Where we would use the active value to go to [Palettes 2] (color step ....)
