That is how to tap-sync a cuelist that "is-a-Chase" i don't believe it will work to tap sync a strobe.
As far as I know there is no way to do so. I might be wrong.
Unless you maybe made a cuelist with two cues where the strobe flashes once on each and the made it a chase (in cuelist options) then used the tap-sync method (hold choose and tap play).
probably wont work past a certain rate but for slower stuff. . .
