Howdy. I just bought a used Hog 3. The screen doesn't seem to stay up on its own, it keeps falling down. Is there an adjustment on the gas spring to make it stay up or should I replace the whole spring. Thanks.
The gas spring is friction lock type. So tightening the nut should fix the problem. In my console it works very well and stays in any position. If you need replacement, I think it can be found very easily cause the manufacturer of the gas spring is one of the major brands.
