Why does the Network show a Virtual DP8K when I log in my Tablet as a Client? As a Client, it can't be used, so why show up in the Network window? It can only show as Idle, correct?
In 3.2 and newer, client consoles can run a Virtual DP and Widgets. Widgets are no longer restricted to the server console.
You have the option to enable or disable the virtual DP in the Launcher Window's settings. You can also assign it a net-number to avoid duplicates. If you're not using the Virtual DP, go ahead and turn it off, but it's there if you want it.
I'm sorry. I'm looking at the settings in the Launcher window of the client console. I only see the ability to assign a Net # to the Internal DP. I don't see anywhere to Disable it.
