Console Boot Up and Controller/Mouse Issues

After doing a full system restore and getting up to date with the 3.2 software, I'm starting to notice that it takes twice as long for my console to boot up than it did before. Once it's booted up and I'm on the "Launch a show" window, it takes about 1-2 minutes for me to use the trackball/controller/keyboard; everything seems frozen (except I can drag the cursor on the screen when I touch it).

Any ideas? Thanks!

  • [QUOTE=c_muenchow;56430]Hey Brian, the front panel driver loading later in the startup sequence is expected as we moved to kernel mode drivers in our efforts to support 64-bit Windows. However, the front panel should be immediately available after the startup animation is complete. Do you have anything else plugged into the Road Hog? Usb Keyboards? Etc?

    Hi Chris,

I have both a USB Keyboard, USB to VGA adapter connected through a powered USB hub. I'll remove all USB devices from the console and restart now...
