Hi guys, please help I have been sent a showfile to clean-up but they have used the copy folders method and i cnat open it with hog3pc - how do i do this or how do i convert these folders into a usable showfile..
A Hog3PC show file is essentially a regular folder with thousands of objects inside of it including a special file that identifies that the folder is a Hog 3 show file. Unfortunately windows is terrible about moving this many files in explorer and often times when doing copying and pasting of all that data some files get lost or not copied. More than likely the copy you have is bad. Have your colleagues backup the show into an archive using the backup feature in the shows window. Back up files are only about 3mb and are single files with a .shw extension (or tar.gz depending on if you are running 3.1.9 or older).
